About This Feature: At the end of the 1990's, I wrote a feature called Games of the 90's. I really had fun doing it and it generated a lot of good feedback from you, my loyal readers. So consider this feature the sequel. For those of you who read this site regularly, you know that it is written completely from a fan's perspective. This list is no different.

Why Now?: I really wanted to do this again, and I am too impatient to wait until 2010! When the 2004 season ended, it marked the exact halfway point of the decade (in terms of football seasons), so I figured this was a good time to do this.

Selection Process: A panel of experts from four different continents carefully reviewed tapes of every Steelers game between 2000 and 2005 to determine which ones were worthy of making the final cut. Or maybe I just picked them myself.

Worst List: Some of you may be wondering why there is also a "top five worst games" list. I think as a fan, you go through up's and down's with your team. Those bad games often elicit even more emotion than the big wins, so they are worth reviewing as well.

Personal Memories: Many of the games have a section on the end called "Personal Memories". These are just things that I remember personally about the game. Again, this is from a fan's perspective, so I always try to include things you wouldn't find on media sports sites like ESPN or SI.com.

Video Version: I compiled a brief video version of the top ten best game (for those of you who don't like to read so much!). If you are from CBS Sports or NFL Films, please don't sue me! I have that express written consent lying around here somewhere - really, I do....
